Suggested itinerary
- Ferry Rossaveel → Inishmore – book in advance at aranislandferries.com
- Pick up e-bike from Aran Bike Hire at the pier
- Cycle to Seal Colony viewpoint. Pull over and see if you can spot some seals.
- A little further you can swim or stroll at Kilmurvey Beach. This is a beautiful beach.
- Snack & craft shops at base of Dún Aonghasa. This is a great spot for a coffee or something to eat.
- Steep hike up to Dún Aonghasa cliff fort & explore the rim Be careful, there are no railings, but the view is spectacular!
- Afterwards, take your time free-wheel around western lanes for hidden ruins & stone walls
- Late lunch / early dinner of seafood chowder back in Kilronan village
- Return ferry to mainland
